"The Air is Different Here" captures the moment the light and the air create pure peace and serenity that our bodies can feel. Our lungs expand to their fullest with ease and every muscle in our body gifts us with release. It's the moment the sun kisses the horizon, illuminating all the life around us with a golden wash. The air sparkling with remnants of what nature gave to the wind...these pieces that no longer belong to us. The horse mirroring a teachable moment to slow down. It is as if nature is sharing this secret of how to be present and grounded.
 
I've been really inspired to paint the movement of the wind and water, using techniques layered with small dashes of color, referencing the paint strokes flowing in circular motions like Van Gogh's Starry Night.
