Giant's Causeway:

Formations formed in hexagon patterns, rise and fall like steps from the Earth to the water. You can only imagine the intense heat required to create such intricate shapes and pillars. Reawakened from a deep slumber, Giant’s Causeway opens her eyes. Her furrowed brow sends shivers to those who meet her gaze. A quake of a war forced her out of rest, rising from the Earth with a deep hole in her chest. A battle once lost, pieces of her were buried along with anger towards the one who pulled the trigger. A woman left feeling defeated, now awakened to fight once again, against the war on women…in hopes it will finally

reach its end.

Salar De Uyuni:

ust under the soles of your feet was once a lake that reflected the sky in perfect harmony. Two parts coming together to make a whole. Salar de Uyuni flowed with the clouds making it difficult to decipher the Earth from the sky. Now her desolate body lies consumed with salt, constantly reminding us of the life that once was. You can’t help but feel the dehydration weakening her soul. The sky desperately tries to reconnect with Salar de Uyuni, reaching across the horizon to place her hand on her cheek, communicating she is still there. She is not alone and not abandoned in times of hardship. If only Salar would remove the blindfold and look to the sky, she would reveal a reflection of who she truly is.

Puerto Princessa:

The screams of Mother Nature are heard around the world, reawakening old wounds and traumas that were thought to have been buried long ago. Bound by what she is told defines her, Puerto Princesa struggles to unbind the norms society has caged her body and mind in. She is so much more than what’s on the surface. She is a subterranean river that explores the depths of what we could believe is even possible. Her soul and emotions are deep, and her empathy gives her power. Puerto Princesa represents the struggle women face emotionally, physically, and spiritually every day. Blinded and silenced, her tears are forced to the surface and put on display for all to see. Fear emerges as she is told invalidating words that describe her emotion as weakness and a result of “being a woman.” “Must be that time of the month.” “Why are you always so emotional?” “You are just overreacting.” Despite the pain of the rope tightening around her body, she continues to fight for her freedom. To become the free flowing-water she once was, a guiding light that signifies equality, love, and understanding. Puerto is not only a fighter, she is a warrior for all women…and warriors fight until the end.
