"If These Wings Could Fly" Collection is inspired not only by the process of creating these pieces, but the idea that women will always continue to seek their freedom of self and self expression.
The process of creating these pieces have challenged me to let go of everything that I know and everything that is comfortable. Reminding me that I have the freedom to make changes and to try new things. It's the same in our lives.
As women we have adapted for so long. We kept quiet because it was comfortable enough and easy enough to get by...even though our words and concerns fell on deaf ears. But this series of paintings will be the reminder that women deserve to feel seen, heard and understood...deserve to fly free and to change our minds freely.
