“Rebuilding Myself” was created as a part of my Women Healing Themselves Collection. Painting with various yellows and burnt sienna to capture a vibrant glow. It feels like the sun is shinning on her. Telling her it’s time to reclaim herself. I made the decision to keep her line work visible, suggesting she is staring over or “redrawing” herself. That’s why the part of nature grows from her upper arm and wrist, representing the work she is doing to heal herself.
